Supplements I’ve Started Taking

So I’m super into health and fitness.

I work out 2 days a week (push ups, weights, squats, deadlifts, etc). And eat a pretty good diet. And fast from time to time (haven’t fasted in a while though).

I’ve done a lot of fitness stuff, but the one thing I haven’t really used was supplements.

Why?

Cause when I was younger – I was pretty broke, and couldn’t buy anything, but now I have a job, so I can splurge on some.

Also – I’ve heard that some supplements are pure crap.

So, I stayed away…

… Until my doctor tole me that I was Vitamin D deficient. And apparently,  African Americans are really deficient cause of our skin needs more sun than lighter skin folks.

Wild, huh?

Anyway, I started taking Vitamin D the Now Foods  brand.

Which is dope. I take it every other day.

Don’t really feel any different when I take it though. I’m gonna get a check up in the winter to see if my Vitamin D levels are up to snuff. We’ll see.

The next one I got was Magnesium. Which most people are deficient in – like 70% of Americans.

That’s crazy.

But I do notice a difference. My muscles are a little more calmer. A little more relaxed.

And that’s what it’s prescribed to do – muscle relaxation.

I’m pretty relaxed, well – as relaxed as a dude with cerebral palsy can be.

And my sleep is better – I’m knocked on this stuff. But I am a little groggy wake, though.

Anyway, I just got Zinc last week too.

And it’s good for the immune system.

But I don’t see any major effects. I might not though cause kombucha already has my immune system buzzing!

I’ve also taken melatonin. And that knocked me out, man.

That one is dope too.

Overall, I like supplements, and I’m gonna get many more for my health needs. Like Gorilla mind dream, omega 3’s, DIM, and many more.

Hopefully I can get sponsored for it too.

That’s possible, right?

**Fingers crossed***

P.S. Follow me on Twitter cause supplements are dope.

Later!
